POSITION DETAIL

  • Title: Business Developer

  • Headcount: 1

  • Base Salary: $55K ~ $75K CAD/year + Commission bonus

  • Work Location: 18 Linden St, Hamilton, ON L8L 3H6, Canada

Position Summary:
Responsible for securing strategic partnerships with major retailers. This role develops new business opportunities while analyzing market trends to identify growth potential. The role also involves representing the company at industry events to boost brand visibility and market presence.


Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and establish partnerships with large retailers in the assigned area (Costco, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc.).

  • Develop business opportunities within the dealer, builder, and contractor segments.

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and emerging trends.

  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions with major partners.

  • Work closely with the Sales team to align business development strategy with sales execution.

  • Manage and track key business metrics, ensuring growth in revenue and market share.

  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness.


Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's or College’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields

Experience:

  • 2~5 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships in retail/building materials industry

  • Strong background in B2B negotiations and contract management with dealers, builders, or contractors

  • Proven track record of securing and managing partnerships with large retailers is a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to execute growth strategies

Technology:

  • Familiar with Odoo/ERP/CRM systems

  • External: Clients, Customers, Vendors/Suppliers, and other business partners related to the assigned function


WORKING CONDITION

  • Work Hours: 8:00 – 17:00

  • Work Days: Monday to Friday

  • Overtime: No
