Oakridge Park - Vancouver, BC

The Oakridge Redevelopment project encompasses both preconstruction and construction services for transforming the existing mall into a world-class mixed-use development.

The scope includes expanding the mall to 1.4 million square feet, constructing over 2,900 residential units across 13 towers (featuring both market-rate and affordable housing), adding 300,000 square feet of commercial office space, and building a 70,000-square-foot civic centre. The project also features public park areas that span across rooftop spaces, offering green, accessible environments within an urban setting.

In 2023, Floordi was proud to support a Vancouver-based supplier and installer in matching engineered flooring specifications required by the project investor. After several months of technical coordination, Floordi successfully secured approval to supply the flooring. The product delivered was a premium engineered hardwood, ASH AB Grade, with dimensions approximately 86.6” x 8.7” x 0.57” / 0.12” wear layer (2200 × 220 × 14.6 / 3 mm) — meeting the highest standards for performance and aesthetics in large-scale residential construction.
